Two Commercial Payloads Set For STS-93

sts93 patch July 16, 1999 Huntsville, AL - The Commercial Generic Bioprocessing Apparatus (CGBA) and Aerogel commercial payloads are scheduled to fly aboard the historic launch of the Chandra X-Ray Telescope. The CGBA payload will be conducting a variety of experiments, from testing water purification technology for use on Earth to an interactive student experiment. The Aerogel payload is continuing research into producing clearer and stronger aerogels, which could be used for high-efficiency windows.
